Cecile Lacombe

 

Cecile discovered singing a few years ago and immediately fell in love with this art. She began training with Victoria Zajchowski, and she is has been a student of Kathryn Whitney at the Victoria Conservatory of Music for the past two years.

Over the past few years, Cecile took take part in many endeavours, including solo performances, the Victoria Conservatory French song competition, and the Victoria Conservatory Summer Choral Program.

Cecile works for the provincial government where she is the Director of Research at the Ministry of Technology and Innovation. She leads research funding for universities and supports development of innovative technology in British Columbia.

Nevertheless, she never stopped singing and she currently sings with the Victoria Choral Society, and she regularly sings solo in a Victoria Church.  She is very excited to be taking part in the Dichterliebe Project.
